Career Preparation Programs
Career Preparation programs are locally developed educational programs that prepare students for entry into the workplace or for further education and training in a specific career pathway. School District #71 is developing a variety of Career Preparation programs to meet the needs of our students and community.
The goals of Career Preparation include:
- Providing opportunities for enhanced career development activities
- Providing students with entry level skills for specific employment opportunities
- Improving transition between secondary school and the workplace
- Enhancing transition between the secondary and post-secondary education systems
