WELCOME
2009 - 2010

We are updating and rebuilding this site. Complete pages will have the 2009-2010 just below the title. We apologize for any challenges this presents.

National Robotics Week, in the United States, is from April 10th to 18th, 2010. The site has some great activities and challenges that may interest Canadians and robot enthusiasts from around the world.

National Robotics Week

The links to the left will help you to build a base of knowledge about robots and robotics, different kinds of robots (starting with basic kits), some of the robotic competitions you, and your students, might want to enter or follow and breaking news about where this field is going. The links on the right will keep you informed about local activities (on Vancouver Island and in British Columbia) and provide curricular links so that you can add learning about robotics to the curriculum your students, or children, are studying. Welcome to our visitors from across Canada (especially the Comox Valley and Nanaimo) and around the World. These include a number of visits from folks in 79 countries including the United States, the Netherlands, Poland, and the United Kingdom. It is a small - and sometimes very flat - world!

Your contributions and suggestions are always welcome. Feel free to contact us via the links below.

Thanks.
