Mt. Washington Apline Food Festival

2010 Alpine Food Festival

Summer, in the Comox Valley, comes to an end with the Mt. Washington Alpine Food Festival.
Check out their site to see some of the incredible foods and ideas here on Vancouver Island..

As farms begin to move towards their harvests don't forget to check out and build up a stockpile of some of the great foods grown in the Comox Valley. Students looking for Graduation Transition credits - either as volunteers for groups such as Lush Valley or for work exerience - should contact the Career Centres in their schools for information.

Here is this month's recipe from the cookbook from the chefs of the:

Canadian Culinary Federation North Vancouver Island Branch.

We would welcome your comments, suggestions to help make this a valuable resource for you and for our community.

Thanks for your help.
